Since childhood, everybody has been wandering into the LEGOland. Conquering our mind, memory and senses, the LEGOs magnetize our attraction. Sympathy for the LEGO, I would say :) For some people, LEGOs go beyond entertainment and plastic toys play; they mix up with inspiration, creativity and become a vivid representaion of ART. The short video below, produced by Kornhaber Brown, presents 3 stunning LEGO artists whose artistic perpective is one in a million. N*joy Sean Kenney, Alex Kobbs and Nathan Sawaya LEGO ART CONSTRUCTIONS! Incredible HD/3D product display by BERG.

Product imagery display via cinematic techniques usage. Swipping through cinema and touching through glass... can provide online shopping and not only , with an amazing virtual reality buying perspective. Each of the scenes in these applications are made up of hundreds (and in some cases thousands) of individual images, each extracted from a piece of real-time HD video. KEEP WALKING GREECE!

Exceptional concept, very touching video projecting a unanimous, tight Greek social bond. Even in your darkest ages, Keep Walking GREECE...and u will never walk alone.

Johnnie Walker's Greek team in cooperation with The Newtons agency were inspired by the negative climate in the country and proceeded with this production aiming at rising the Greek esteem and strength as well. Via the KEEP WALKING GREECE tv commercial, the Greeks are invited to walk together in the rain, in the streets, in the seaside, in the dark, in the harshness... Hope is commonly shared and unites our nation for a better Tomorrow. The tvc is using the famous song «You’ ll never walk alone» symbolizing thus comradeship, optimism. It focuses on people with A Soul, mature consciousness, both individual and collective advance... all of them leading to a better world. it sounds romantic, ideal, dreamy, utopia? Maybe... but i do believe that we do have more possibilities for success when we add some optimism, light, smile and positive thought around and inside us. The directors Charis Patramanis and Takis Zervoulakos cooperated so as to depict OUR GREECE that keeps dreaming, keeps hoping, keeps walking.

«Keep Walking Greece» is on air and available at www.keepwalkinggreece.gr where the visitors are able to add comments, photos, messages related to our Greece which keeps walking.

THUMBS UP for the genuinely GREEK initiative.

Chryssa :)

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL ''Making the Invisible VISIBLE'' campaign.

German street art collective Mentalgassi have collaborated with Brothers and Sisters creative team Lisa Jelliffe and Kirsten Rutherford to create a series of unique art installations for Amnesty International.

“Making the invisible visible” uses lenticular fence posters. The art installation depicts a close up of six well-known individuals who have suffered unfortunate abuse regarding human rights acts. The victims' faces become only visible to those approaching the fence. Front on, the images become invisible. A plaque on each site alerts passers-by to an Amnesty website (www.amnesty.org.uk/fence) where they can sign a petition calling for justice for the victims.

“Mentalgassi’s images are unexpected, arresting and emotive. Their surprising use of faces on fence railings reminded us of prison bars which seemed like a unique way to highlight Amnesty’s work.”

Mentalgassi are a collective of three artists from Berlin. Their distinctive photographic street art is seen throughout Europe, with their work being included in Miami’s Art Basel Fair, Bilbao’s Getxo festival and Serbia’s Exit Festival. Their work can be seen at www.mentalgassi.de or http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mentalgassi/194987001606

NOKIA LUMIA 800...4D Projection launch in London! wow :-!

On Monday 28th November 2011, Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows phone brought deadmau5 and the world's most advanced 4D technology together and created an amazing free light show at Millbank Tower, London.
Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure. Huge butterflies flew across the London skyline and the tower was twisted, pulsated and even fell down. Billed as the "future of live events" the spectacular show was accompanied by music from super producer deadmau5, who created exclusive remixes for the performance -- adding the 4th dimension.
Nokia Lumia 800 makes the everyday amazing.

1987 Casio G-Shock by Nigel Sylvester, BMX Pro.

''1987" by Casio G-Shock, is an urban retro-style video shot on the streets of New York City, the home of BMX icon Nigel Sylvester. The video, titled 1987 the year Nigel was born, celebrates a collaborative timepiece between Casio G-Shock and Nigel. As an adult, Nigel looks back on his year of birth as a time of great creative freedom and experimentation. The film was created to capture that spirit.

The cinematography takes reference from classic arcade games. The sound design draws spirit from the associated 16 bit soundtracks that emanated from the computers of that time. The graphic approach pays homage to Casio. Nigel demonstrates the importance of timing while performing tricks wearing the G-Shock GD100NS-7.

i love the G-SHOCKs :) n*joy the videos

Social initiaves that can brighten our day: ''Say Something Nice'' by Improv Everywhere

Imrov Everywhere in collaboartion with the Guggenheim Museum took on a very enlightening and socially beneficial initiative. In New York Union Square , a wooden  podium with a speaker and the tag ''SAY SOMETHING NICE'' were placed in public giving thus the chance to each passer by to grasp the speaker and shout out something nice to the people walking by :) .  How nice as an initiative, so sweet, expressive, genuine, communicative, funny, surprising, spontaneous, humane... An excellent practice, something simple to conceive and implement while adding so much psychical satisfaction,  pleasure, smiles, fun, amusement, social care... feelings that the contemporary Society is deprived of and thus in need of! I wish something similar was also organized in Greece adding thus optimism and color in our routine. n*joy the video attached below :)and never forget to SAY SOMETHING NICE to all the people around/besides you !

My tribute poem for the 10yrs ''Missing AALIYAH''

It’s been too long and I am lost without you

Missing your smile, aura and music… dat’s true

Searching for you in the air that I breathe

Writing about you in my story of the Myth

Following your footprints in the urban street

Chasing your elegance cause it’s smooth and sweet

Fighting pessimism by being armed with your music

Smiling widely when I feel your eyes in the sky blink

Praying daily for your soul to be in tranquility

Swearing for life that to you I show fidelity

It is AALIYAH if you read between my lines

It is AALIYAH when you feel my funky vibes

It is AALIYAH that results into my inspiration

It is AALIYAH in all that happens in rotation

My Babygirl, you give me strength

My Babygirl, my life gets length

And if at first I don’t succeed

You taught me that I need to compete

To dust it off and TRY AGAIN

As there is happiness after pain.
