Art & the City στο City Link, 27 Σεπτεμβρίου - 8 Οκτωβρίου!

Η έκθεση “Art & the City” φιλοξενείται και πάλι στο City Link.

Για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά ο Όμιλος Τραπέζης Πειραιώς και το City Link συνεργάζονται με την Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών δημιουργώντας ένα υπαίθριο εργαστήριο ζωγραφικής και γλυπτικής μέσα στην Στοά Σπύρου Μίλιου. Οι καλλιτέχνες καλούνται να φιλοτεχνήσουν ένα πίνακα η γλυπτό εμπνεόμενοι από ζωντανά μοντέλα που θα ποζάρουν γι’ αυτούς μπροστά στους περαστικούς. Η έναρξη και η ολοκλήρωση του κάθε έργου πραγματοποιούνται επί τόπου, στο City Link.

Για μία ολόκληρη εβδομάδα, από την Δευτέρα 26/9 έως την Κυριακή 2/10 οι καλλιτέχνες θα δουλεύουν υπό το βλέμμα του κοινού: η Monmarte στην καδιά της Αθήνας!

Με την ολοκλήρωσή τους τα έργα θα αναπτυχθούν σε έκθεση μέσα στην Στοά , με επίσημα εγκαίνια την Δευτέρα, 3 Οκτωβρίου, στις 19:00 και την βράβευση των τριών πρώτων. Η έκθεση θα διαρκέσει έως το Σάββατο, 8 Οκτωβρίου.

Curaj, Romania!

Piraeus Bank Romania is the Principal Sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games Romanian Committee, a sponsorship going live for the years 2011-2012 and with the ultimate aim to bring the people as close as possible to the Olympic Games festive mood, spirit as well as Olympic ethics and values! And these are not the only actions, but only the introductory ones :) The famous Romanian runner athlete Alexandru Teofilescu is starring in the particular viral video and sends a national message for the Olympic Encouragement of the Romanian National Team! Piraeus Bank Bulgaria joins forces with Unicef!

Piraeus Bank Bulgaria has launched a MasterCard credit card along with Unicef; each transaction accomplished with this special card entails the donation to Unicef by both the card holder and the bank. 

The campaign is itself a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) action launched in May 2011 and promoted via TV commercial, Print material (Point of sales and print ads) as well as internet by the launch of a microweb. Both the ‘’Petite Prince’’ creative of the card plastic as well as the touching and emotional story of the TVC aim at attracting the public interest and inviting people to contribute to Unicef in favor of kids that need extra reasons as well as psychival strength to smile :) The bank itself becomes an activist by additionally donating to the Unicef foundation!

The tv commercial is shot in black and white, dark colors trying to project the melancholy, sadness and misery featuring the kids’ lives. While everybody goes out with friends, has a drink and some fun, thousands of children are not in equivalent situations; they live in institutions, may not have parents, but they do preserve some hope deep inside! So, Piraeus Bank invites people to join its CSR action and together help these children save their hope for tomorrow! Since images speak louder than words, N*joy the artwork of the respective subtitled tv commercial ! 

Piraeus Bank Bulgaria launches '' the melody of business success''!

In June 2011, Piraeus Bank Bulgaria prepared and launched a very dynamic campaign in support of the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs); the particular campaign aims at attracting the interest on the business products and services offered by Piraeus Bank Group subsidiary in Bulgaria which for the last years has been overperforming in targeting and servicing the enterprises, esp. via its business centers all over the country.

The campaign entitled ‘’Melody of success’’ is promoted via TVC, radio and print ads as well as a micro website at http://sme.piraeusbank.bg/home.  The tv commercial projects the strong bond between business people and the bank. It is a very interesting, movie-like production, with impressive sound effects that successfully manages to convey this feeling of MELODY, ie. Melody of business success. Our beloved fairy tales magic becomes animated in the specially designed and impressively decorated Spirou Miliou Arcade. Wonderful toy statues, dainty morsels from chestnut makers and candyfloss for our beloved little friends!!! Talented musicians mingling with expressive artists that add such a melodical note to the festive atmosphere!!!

Χmas & New Years Eve, 15.00 - 17.00, the Children's Choir will be spreading over the arcade their Christmas Carols and songs!

ART AND THE CITY ...@ the heart of Athens, City Link

ART is so vivid in the City. Athens downtown gets painted !!! From September 30 till October 10, at the heart of Athens, in specific at the City Link Spirou Miliou archade, young artists create and display their artworks! Twenty young graduates of the National School of Fine Arts  have been drawing with their City in mind. Their arts get inspired by Athens and their paintings are collectively exhibited in Spirou Miliou archade. At the time being, the young artists have initiated their projects and there is so much color and artistic vibe downtown. It is worth passing by the pedestrian street of Voukourestiou that leads to Spirou Miliou and wander around the out-of-home atelier. The atmosphere is uplifting, colorful, vivid and the citizens need to add color in their daily routine. The exhibition which is a live experience starts on September 30 and finishes on October 10. The official opening ceremony as well as the top 3 artworks distinction is set to take place on October 2. Afterwards, all the exhibits will be displayed in the archade for the passer bys. An artistic initiative aiming at adding freshness, inspiration and color in your life and City :-)

Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) @ the “Istanbul European Capital of Culture 2010”

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (www.piop.gr) participates at the big cultural event that takes place on yearly basis, the "European Capital of Culture", by presenting two exhibitions at the Sanat Limani (Antrepo 5) in Istanbul, from July 30 until September 19, 2010 (opening on Friday July 30, at 19:00).


The exhibition "Architectural counterpoints in Greece: from 19th c. tradition to 21st c. mutations" assembles more than 100 photographs, taken by the distinguished Greek architect Aristotelis Zachos (1871 – 1939), that derive from the Neohellenic Architecture Archives of the Benaki Museum and raise issues regarding the current situation and common attitude towards architectural heritage.

The contemporary art show "A space between" (Eleni Kotsoni, Raziye Kubat, Cagr Saray) is a site-specific installation including various objects, drawings and paintings and evolving through the dialogue established between Greek and Turkish artists.
